2004, 40 x 40I drafted this pattern from a picture I had taken of the rose window in the cathedral of Sevilla. I used a reverse applique method, so the brown is all one piece.
When I was done I wished I had used a darker fabric for the background, but I still have the pattern, so maybe I'll make another one some day.

And, as I remember, this quilt was shown at the First Street Gallery in December 2006 as part of their first ever quilt exhibit. Very nice. ncq
