Today's post was supposed to be a great-grandchild quilt for M, but Karen can't find the picture! We'll find it and get it posted soon. In the mean time, Happy Birthday, M!
So instead, I'll post one that we missed over Christmas. I made this quilt from a pattern Mom got from one of her friends. It was fun to use shiny materials and hunt for just the right hair fabric. I had intended to make a companion piece that had Christmas bells using the same shiny fabrics, but that hasn't happened yet. I do have the fabrics with the pattern, though! That's a start.
This is just the right size to hang in Adele's entryway at Christmas time. Although I think she has quite a few quilts that are "perfect" for that spot, so we have to rotate!
